A few years ago, my favorite writing method was to type for several hours at a time while sitting cross-legged on my bed with a laptop. Turns out that’s really not…how does one say…ergonomic? I ended up with aching wrists and a lecture from my physical therapist sister to TAKE BREAKS WHILE TYPING! (And also to be an adult and get a chair.)
After months of ice and rest, my battered wrists finally returned to normal. But with November being National Novel Writing Month, I figured I would share a few gentle stretches you can do for your wrists. No more injuries for me!
Good luck–and happy, healthy writing! 🙂
Love and proper ergonomics,
Emily
